Selected models are available with extended operating-temperature ranges for outdoor equipment, industrial machinery, mobile systems and other demanding applications.

Wide-temperature models are available in a variety of screen sizes, resolutions, brightness levels and enclosure styles. Options include sunlight-readable, waterproof, panel-mount, open-frame and touchscreen monitors.

INDUSTRIAL MONITORS BUILT FOR TEMPERATURE EXTREMES

Standard commercial displays are generally designed for climate-controlled indoor environments. In industrial, outdoor and mobile applications, monitors may be exposed to freezing temperatures, direct sunlight, high internal cabinet temperatures or extreme seasonal temperature changes.

Operating a monitor outside its rated temperature range can result in slow LCD response, image distortion, failure to start, temporary screen blackout or premature component failure.

TRU-Vu wide-temperature monitors use industrial-grade LCD panels and electronic components selected for reliable operation in demanding environments. Depending on the model, available operating ranges extend well below freezing and up to extreme high-temperature conditions.

Many models are also designed for continuous 24/7/365 operation. Our optional TRU-Tuff treatment provides additional shock and vibration resistance by securing critical components, connections and internal wiring.

Modified or Custom Monitors

TRU-Vu industrial LCD monitors can be modified to meet your specific temperature, mounting and environmental requirements. Available options may include different LCD panels, brightness levels, touchscreens, video inputs, DC power configurations, protective glass and enclosure styles.

Depending on screen size, volume and technical requirements, TRU-Vu can also develop a custom or modified OEM monitor for your application.
