LCD Monitors for Training Simulators
SIMULATORS ARE USED IN A MULTITUDE OF INDUSTRIES
The use of training simulators is greatly increasing throughout a multitude of industries. Flight simulators help train private, commercial and military pilots. Operator training simulators help train individuals to operate heavy equipment, drive trucks, and operate large military vehicles. Other simulators train individuals how to drive a bus or train, operate complex industrial equipment, or perform maintenance. There are also specialized simulators for police, fire, maritime, military and medical personnel.
MONITORS FOR TRAINING SIMULATORS OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF BENEFITS:
- reduced costs and time
- real-life experiences
- immediate feedback
- knowledge retention
- dramatically reduced risk of damage or injury.
VIDEO MONITORS ARE CRITICAL FOR SIMULATORS
A critical aspect of every training simulator is one or more video monitors. These act as windows, simulate control panels, replicate dashboards or command centers. They re-create the visual experience as close to real-life as possible. The image quality and brightness of the screens are therefore extremely critical.
TRU-vu has been providing LCD monitors and touch screens for simulators for many years. This includes large monitors for flight simulators. Touch screens are used for operator training simulators. Sunlight Readable monitors are deployed for helicopter simulators, and touchscreens for industrial control system simulators. Certain simulators may even require waterproof monitor solutions.
CUSTOM VIDEO DISPLAY SOLUTIONS
In order to re-create the most accurate rendering of a vehicle or aircraft interior, the manufacturer may need a custom video display solution. This is one of TRU-Vu’s specialties. We can modify any of our standard 4:3 or 16:9 displays, or custom-build video monitors to meet your exact requirements.
In addition to the above examples, we provide Zero-Bezel monitors with sleek all-glass fronts and rounded corners for simulation systems where aesthetics were critical. We also offer open-frame monitors for limited-space applications where the displays were embedded inside of a dashboard or panel. 24VDC monitors have been deployed on portable simulation systems, and 4K displays for large life-like imaging.
