Standard LCD monitors appear "washed-out" and are difficult, if not impossible, to view outdoors or in high ambient light conditions. This is due to the brightness of the monitor, as well as both internal and exterior reflections. TRU-Vu Monitors has the ideal solutions to overcome these issues.
For bright daylight conditions, and areas with lots of reflected light, TRU-Vu's Optically Bonded Daylight Readable monitors are the perfect solution. The optical bonding process injects an optical-grade epoxy resin into the air gap between the LCD panel and the outer glass. This reduces the internal reflections by over 98%, which improves the contrast ratio and overall viewability of the screen. (as seen in the image above). An additional benefit is that it also increases the monitor's durability.
For applications with bright sunlight falling directly onto the face of the screen, a true Sunlight Readable (aka High-Bright) monitor is the best choice. These sunlight LCD monitors have 1,000 or more nits of screen brightness, which is strong enough to produce clear, sharp, viewable images.
