19″ OUTDOOR WATERPROOF TOUCH SCREEN PANEL-MOUNT

The SRMOBTPWPM-19CH is a 19″ outdoor waterproof touch screen.  It is a sunlight readable P-Cap touch screen  in a waterproof panel mount enclosure.  Additionally, this rugged 19″ outdoor touch screen features 1,000 nits brightness, optical bonding, anti-reflective glass and a 4:3 (5:4) aspect ratio.  Furthermore, the operating temperature is -22˚ to +185˚F, which makes this touch screen suitable for use outdoors and in nearly any type of weather conditions.

SUNLIGHT READABLE TOUCH SCREEN WITH 1000 NITS BRIGHTNESS

The SRMOBTPWPM-19CH is a 19″ sunlight readable panel mounted waterproof touch screen monitor. We feature 1000 nits screen brightness and a 4:3 aspect ratio on this model.  We design this 19 bright touchscreen for outdoor use. Additionally, the weatherproof touch screen is specifically for use in direct sunlight.  Because of the high 1,000 nits brightness of the SRMOBTPWPM-19CH panel mount monitors, they are perfect for any high ambient-light conditions. These weather proof touch screens utilize state-of-the-art LED backlights.  1,000 nits brightness is over 3 to 5 times brighter than standard brightness monitors.  Standard LCD monitors offer only 200-300 nits brightness. We feature a protective Anti-Reflective glass over the LCD panel on this model. Additionally, this touch screen has optical bonding. This will provide you with crystal-clear images, even in direct, bright sunlight on the face of the screen.

WHAT IS OPTICAL BONDING?

Optical bonding is the process of laminating protective glass or a touch screen panel to the LCD panel. We insert an optical-grade resin between the glass and LCD to increase contrast ratio and improve image quality.

Some monitors have a sheet of glass over the LCD panel. This protects the panel from accidental or intentional damage. However, the glass also produces unwanted glare and reflections on the outer surface. The glass also creates internal reflections in the air gap between the glass and the LCD panel, which will diminish image quality. In order to combat this, monitors are optically bonded.

An optical-grade resin is injected to completely fill the air gap. This not only eliminates the internal reflections, but also increases the contrast ratio. In bright conditions, it makes the screen much more viewable. Optical bonding will also eliminate any internal moisture or condensation. Moreover, it will make the monitor more rugged and durable. Lastly, an Anti-Reflective coating is applied to the outside of the glass. Consequently, this will drastically reduce glare and surface reflections. Optical bonding ensures monitors will be highly viewable in bright, indirect sunlight.

RUGGED 19″ OUTDOOR WATERPROOF TOUCHSCREEN

These 19″ 1,000 nit touch screen displays are not only bright, but extremely rugged. Built with true industrial-grade components, these outdoor panel mount touchscreens receive our exclusive TRU-Tuff treatment. The TRU-Tuff process includes RTV silicone on all connections and critical components. We then dress all wires , tie-wrap and secure them.

Lastly, we apply ThreadLock to all screws.  The durable stainless steel panel mount enclosure will ensure maximum shock and vibration resistance. This weather proof touchscreen will easily withstand the elements outdoors.  It is also ideal for wash-down environments and widely used in industrial and food processing plants. 

The front face of this weatherproof touchscreen has a rating of NEMA 4X Waterproof. It is impervious to liquids, rust and corrosion. Additionally, our  SRMOBTPWPM-19CH has a Zero Bezel / Bezel-Less enclosure, which has no raised bezel, frame, or edges on the front face. The panel mount feature will enable you to flush-mount this touch screen into a panel, door, wall, cabinet or enclosure. PROJECTED CAPACITIVE (P-CAP) TOUCH SCREEN WITH HIGH OPERATING TEMPERATURES

We design the SRMOBTPWPM-19CH to operate in nearly any environmental conditions.  This 19 bright touchscreen performs in frigid conditions or blazing heat. These monitors will operate in temperatures down to -22°F (-30°C).  They will also withstand brutal heat, with operating temperatures up to 185°F (85°C).  The 19″high brightness displays will provide years of reliable imaging performance.  Specifically, typical MTBF for these monitors is 50,000 hours.

Projected Capacitive (P-CAP) touch is similar to Surface Capacitive, but it offers two primary advantages: in addition to a bare finger, the SRMOBTPWPM-19CH can also be activated with surgical gloves or thin cotton gloves. A Projected Capacitive touch screen also enables multi-touch activation. For instance, this will allow up to 10 simultaneous touch points.
