TRU-Touch is designed to meet demanding outdoor applications: touchscreen that works in rain and snow

100% functional with heavy work gloves or in the pouring rain.
Immune to false touch from those same raindrops but yet be sensitive enough for reliable dry touch.
Also ideal for indoor touchscreen applications in wash-down facilities, pools/saunas, or on exercise equipment/stationary bikes.
TRU-Touch Pcap Touchscreens are available in sizes from 7” to 65” and can be customized to meet your exact needs.

TOUCH SCREEN THAT WORKS IN RAIN AND SNOW

The TRU-Touch process ensures that the outer surface of the touch display is scratch-resistant. This offers not only protection to the display, but helps retain the image clarity, allowing optimal performance in challenging applications. TRU-Touch provides reliable response through water and liquids, extreme temperatures. It’s truly a touchscreen that works in rain and snow. In addition to a bare finger it can also be activated with not only surgical gloves or thin cotton gloves, but some thicker gloves as well. TRU-Touch also provides multi-touch activation (simultaneous input from two or more fingers).

TRU-Vu’s UV-STABLE OPTICAL ADHESIVES

We use Optically Clear Adhesives on our models with TRU-Touch Technology. This minimizes losses for improved readability, even in bright sunlight. TRU-Vu’s UV-stable optical adhesives provide an extra layer of protection for the display. This blocks harmful sunlight UV rays degrading the display over time.
